COLETTE enters from the stairwell, dust on her corduroy jacket, carrying a canvas tote bag.
COLETTE (French): Fatima, tu ne vas pas croire ce que j'ai trouvé dans la caisse numéro quarante-sept. C'est un registre de douane daté du quatorze mars mil huit cent trente-deux. Il mentionne trois cent cinquante-neuf caisses de soie.expédiées depuis Marseille vers le port de Tanger.
